In October 2024, I was asked to deliver music for a theatre production, called the Midzomernachtsdroom (MZND). A originally 16th century theatreplay by William Shakespeare. I composed, produced and performed the music for this play.

MZND/MIDSUMMERNIGHTSDREAM?
A cruel law forbids the lovers Lysander and Hermia to love each other. Hermia must marry Demetrius. Hermia’s best friend Helena is in love with Demetrius again, but he is not with her. All four of them flee from ancient Athens into the forest on a midsummer night, where the elf king Oberon and his queen Titania, who rule over the realm of dreams, have a terrible quarrel. In the forest, a group of craftsmen are also rehearsing a performance for the wedding of King Theseus. They are all enchanted and experience a hallucinatory night full of lust, love and cruelty.
